I just got back from the emergency room after suffering a severe muscle strain in my shoulder/chest area earlier this week after working out. It was a delayed reaction for some reason???? The doc gave me Vicodin to take and a Rx for them. I've never touch the things before but heard they can be quite addictive. Any truth to that? The ER doc told me to stick to the Motrin if I have fears but Motrin don't do shit for me since I'm a big guy. I don't want to start popping these things and get a dependancy but this pain is awful.

i had back surg. about 6 yrs ago. Thats when I started taking them. I thought the same thing you did. As of today, I take maybe 2 or 3 a yr.
Only when the pain gets outta control. It's just like drinking. In moderation all things can be good.

So The DOC Gave Me A SCRIPT of 60 DARVOCET 100-650 MG

I Had Some Dental Work Done last week............
So The DENTIST Gave Me A SCRIPT of 15 VICODIN 5-500MG


Man, I Tell You....The VICODIN is Much BETTER Than The DARVOCET!
Smaller Pills.......but MUCH MORE POTENT!



I've Taken These 2 SCRIPTS, along w/ some TRAMADOL/ULTRAM Off & On For OVER 2 Years or So w/ This KNEE PROBLEM....and Never Had an ADDICTION PROBLEM!

Only Thing...
-LOSS of APPETITE..may Lose some weight...I HAVE!
-Alot of people say they make them sleepy..not me..I Get Insomnia!

I love all forms of the RX. My most recent has been Xanax to help me relax so I can sleep instead of using my regular method of sleep aid BEER. I am weighing in at 300+ so I had to find an alternative. I must admit that it has been 6 months now and I am hooked on these damn things, but I do like them.

Just take the recomended dosage and you will be fine and a couple extra won't hurt if want a little buzz........

Best advice I can give you about Vicodin is.....

Tell the doctor they make you sick or they dont work and ask if there is anything else he can give you. Tell him you had something before a few years back that was something like pakaset (Percocet, but dont say it correctly) and then after you get your new script of percs filled, tell him you lost you perscription and have him call one in for you and then the next day tell him your wife was cleaning up and the dumb whore knocked the bottle over and they fell into the sink and disolved adn ask him to call in another script.

Then sit back and enjoy with a cocktail!
